§ 22117 District Electric Power Authority

• •People working for special districts (like water or power areas) have the same rules and jobs when dealing with electricity as they do with water.
• •If they can buy, run, or control water systems, they can do the same with electric power.
• •They are responsible for electric power just like they are for irrigation.

A worker for a water district can decide to buy a new water pump. Now, they can also buy equipment for electric power in the same way.

The law says that if someone working for a district can handle water stuff, they can handle electric stuff the same way.
