§ 22082 Conduit Headgate Requirements

A farmer has a ditch that takes water from a river to water their crops.

The farmer must put a strong gate at the start of the ditch, right where the water is taken from the river. This gate must work well and not be broken. The local water district will check to make sure the gate is good enough.
