§ 1610 Water Appropriation License Issuance

Key Takeaways

  • •If the board says you used water the right way, they give you a license.
  • •The license lets you keep using that amount of water.
  • •You can only use the water for good things, like growing crops or giving water to animals.

Example

A farmer uses river water to grow vegetables on their land.

If the board checks and sees the farmer used the water well for their crops, they give the farmer a license. This license says the farmer can keep using that much water for their vegetables.
