Key Takeaways

  • •The state can plan and study ways to reuse water and handle waste better.
  • •They can make big plans for the whole state or just certain areas.
  • •These plans help figure out how to clean and reuse water and get rid of waste safely.

Example

A town has a lot of dirty water from sinks and toilets, and they want to clean it up to use again.

The state can make a plan to study how to clean this water so it can be used for things like watering plants or in factories. They might work with scientists and other experts to figure out the best way to do it.
