§ 11656 Department Contract Enforcement Remedies

• •The department can use any legal way to enforce a contract.
• •This law doesn't limit the department to only the methods listed here.
• •Other laws can still be used to fix contract problems.

If someone breaks a contract with the department, like not finishing a road repair job they were paid for.

The department can take them to court or use other ways to make them finish the job or pay back the money, even if those ways aren't listed in this law.
