§ 11255 Los Banos Reservoir Authorization

Pursuant to the authority contained in Section 12931, the Legislature hereby authorizes, as a part of the State Water Resources Development System, the Los Banos Grandes Reservoir to be located south of the delta and adjacent to the San Luis Reservoir for the purposes of developing additional water supply, providing improved water quality, and providing operational flexibility for fish and wildlife preservation and enhancement in accordance with the Davis-Dolwig Act (Chapter 10 (commencing with Section 11900)). The Los Banos Grandes Reservoir may be constructed in one or more stages, as determined by the department. (Added by Stats. 1984, Ch. 1656, Sec. 1.)
