§ 4012 Cemetery Equipment Registration Exemption

Key Takeaways

  • •Special vehicles used only for taking care of cemeteries don't need to be registered.
  • •These vehicles can sometimes be on the road, but only a little bit.
  • •This rule is only for vehicles that are made or changed just for cemetery work.

Example

A small tractor used only to mow the grass and dig graves in a cemetery.

This tractor doesn't need to be registered because it's only used in the cemetery and rarely goes on the road.
