§ 1504 Dmv Director Appointment

The department is under the control of a civil executive officer known as the Director of Motor Vehicles. The director shall be appointed by, and hold office at the pleasure of, the Governor. (Amended by Stats. 1984, Ch. 268, Sec. 32.2. Effective June 29, 1984.)
