§ 99632 Rail Corridor Funding Allocation

Key Takeaways

  • •The law gives $98 million for train projects between San Bernardino and Los Angeles.
  • •Los Angeles County gets $42 million, and San Bernardino County gets $56 million.
  • •If either county gets extra money from somewhere else, they can use the leftover grant money for other train projects in their county.

Example

Imagine Los Angeles County gets $10 million from another source for their train project.

Since they already have $10 million, they can use some of the $42 million from this law for other train projects in their county instead.
