§ 99360 Bond Revenue Financial Reporting

Key Takeaways

  • •The county must share a simple report about money collected and spent for bond payments.
  • •The report must show how much money is saved to pay back bonds and the interest.
  • •The report should also include a basic overview of the county's finances.

Example

Imagine the county takes out a loan to build a new park.

The county must tell everyone how much money they set aside to pay back the loan and how they spent the park's money. They also share a simple money summary so people know the county's financial health.
