§ 50215 County Auditor Property Valuation

• •The county auditor must send a written report to the board every year.
• •The report must show the total value of all property in the district.

• •The property values come from the assessments mentioned in Section 50214.

Imagine your town has many houses, shops, and farms. Every year, the town needs to know how much all these properties are worth to plan the budget.

The county auditor will add up the value of all these properties using the latest assessments. Then, they will send this total value in a report to the town board by the third Monday in August.
