§ 426 Charter Bus Regulation Funding

The commission shall use all moneys paid into the Public Utilities Commission Transportation Reimbursement Account by charter-party carriers in connection with charter bus transportation, as defined in subdivision (b) of Section 5363, solely for the following purposes: (a) Safety regulation. (b) The administration of financial responsibility requirements. (c) Commission activities to ensure compliance with safety regulation and financial responsibility requirements. (d) Any other regulatory program permitted by Section 14501(a) of Title 49 of the United States Code. (Added by Stats. 1999, Ch. 1005, Sec. 11. Effective January 1, 2000.)
