§ 3345 Authority Budget Review Process

• •The authority's budget must be checked and approved every year in the Budget Act.
• •The budget includes money for workers, office costs, and other expenses.

A city's transit authority wants to hire more bus drivers and buy new computers for their office.

They have to ask for this money in the yearly Budget Act. If it's not approved, they can't spend the money.
