§ 27413 Hearing Notice Timeframe

• •The hearing must happen between 20 and 60 days after the notice is posted.
• •You can't have the hearing too soon (less than 20 days) or too late (more than 60 days).
• •The notice must be published before the 20-60 day countdown starts.

Your city posts a notice about a new rule for parking on your street.

The city must hold a meeting to talk about the rule between 20 and 60 days after the notice is posted. If they try to hold the meeting in 10 days, that’s too soon. If they wait 70 days, that’s too late.
