§ 21208 Advanced Air Mobility Panel

Key Takeaways

  • •California is creating a special group to study flying cars and electric planes.
  • •This group will check if California has the right places for these flying vehicles to land and take off.
  • •They will make a 3-year plan to help California get ready for flying cars and electric planes.
  • •The group must share their findings with the government by January 1, 2025.

Example

Imagine a company wants to start a flying taxi service in California.

This new group will check if there are enough safe spots for these taxis to land, like special helipads. They will also make sure everyone has a fair chance to use this new kind of travel, not just big companies.
