§ 10107 General Services Project Control

This law says that if a project isn’t handled by any of several listed departments, the Department of General Services must run it.

Key Takeaways

  • •Only the departments listed in the law can run their own projects.
  • •Any other project automatically goes to the Department of General Services.
  • •The rule started working on Jan 1 2019.

Example

A town wants to build a new community garden, which isn’t a water, park, prison, transportation, high‑speed rail, or military project.

Because none of the listed departments are in charge, the Department of General Services takes full control of the garden project.
