This law says that state officers and warrant officers get the same pay and benefits as similar officers in the Army, Air Force, and Navy, and their service time counts toward seniority.

Key Takeaways

  • •State officers receive pay equal to federal officers of the same rank.
  • •All full-time service with the state counts toward longevity and retirement.
  • •The rule applies to anyone serving now or in the future.

Example
