§ 80435 Loan Recipient Oversight Costs

Key Takeaways

  • •If there's enough money in the account, the person who got the loan doesn't have to pay for the department's work on the preliminary endangerment assessment.
  • •If there's not enough money in the account, the person who got the loan has to pay for the department's work on the preliminary endangerment assessment.

Example

Imagine you got a loan to clean up a polluted piece of land. The government has to check how bad the pollution is, which costs money.

If there's enough money in the account set aside for this cleanup, you don't have to pay for the government's check. But if there's not enough money, you have to pay for it.
