§ 80255 Loan Project Definition

Key Takeaways

  • •A 'project' is any action or plan for future work that is part of a loan application.
  • •This rule is part of a bigger set of laws about loans.
  • •It started in 2023 but only really began working in 2024.

Example

If a city wants to clean up an old park and build new playgrounds, they might ask for a loan to pay for it.

The cleanup and the new playgrounds together are called a 'project' because they are part of the loan request.
