§ 6965 Zone Formation Requirements

• •If enough people complain in writing, the board has to do a few things.
• •The board must describe the area where the new rules will apply.
• •They have to say how many sewage systems they plan to take care of.
• •They must promise the new rules won’t mess up existing land plans or zoning rules.
• •They have to explain how they’ll pay for everything.

A neighborhood doesn’t want a new sewage management zone because they think it will cause problems.

If enough people in the neighborhood write official complaints, the board has to listen. They must then clearly explain where the zone will be, how many sewage systems they’ll handle, promise it won’t break any current land rules, and show how they’ll pay for it all.
