§ 42360 Variance Order Submission

• •If a local board changes pollution rules for a company, they must tell the state board.
• •They have 30 days to send the new rules to the state.
• •Either the pollution officer or the local board must do this.

A factory asks to pollute a little more than allowed, and the local board says yes.

The local board must send their decision to the state board within 30 days.
