§ 41344 Antelope Valley Warrant Payments

Key Takeaways

  • •If the Antelope Valley district treasurer is also the county treasurer, they can pay bills (warrants) without the county auditor's signature if money is available and the right person has signed it.
  • •The county treasurer can charge the Antelope Valley district for any money-related services they provide.

Example

The Antelope Valley district needs to pay for new school supplies.

If the county treasurer is also in charge of the Antelope Valley district's money, they can pay for the supplies right away if the money is there and the right person has signed off on it. They don’t have to wait for the county auditor to sign. But the district might have to pay a small fee for this service.
