§ 41256 Mojave District Warrant Reporting

Key Takeaways

  • •If the Mojave Desert district's auditor is also a county auditor, they can ask for a monthly list of payments made by the district.
  • •The list must include details like payment number, date, amount, who got paid, and which fund the money came from.
  • •The list also shows how much money was planned to spend, how much was actually spent, and how much is left for the year.
  • •The format of the list must be approved by both the Mojave Desert district board and the county auditor.

Example

The county auditor wants to check how the Mojave Desert district is spending its money.

The auditor can ask for a monthly report showing all payments, like who got paid, how much, and from which fund. This helps the auditor make sure the district is not overspending and is using money as planned.
