§ 39686 Fleet Incentive Compliance Disclosure

Key Takeaways

  • •The state can check if someone broke the rules in Article 2 (starting at Section 39690).
  • •The state must make a website showing public info from companies that got money for buying clean cars.
  • •Some secret info from companies won’t be shared on the website or with the public.

Example

A company gets money from the state to buy electric trucks but lies about how many they really bought.

The state can check if the company broke the rules. If they did, the state might put the truth on their website for everyone to see. But if the company gave secret info (like employee details), the state won’t share that.
