§ 33620 Redevelopment Revolving Fund Establishment

Key Takeaways

  • •The city or town can decide they need a special group to help fix up the community.
  • •If they decide this, they can create a special money pot called a 'redevelopment revolving fund'.
  • •This money pot is kept safe in the town's treasure chest (treasury).

Example

Imagine your town has a lot of old, broken-down buildings that need fixing.

The town leaders can vote and say, 'We need a team to fix these buildings!' Then, they can make a special savings account just for this fixing-up work. This account is kept with the town's other money.
