§ 18060 Licensee Reporting Violations

Key Takeaways

  • •Don't use or allow others to misuse special permits or sales records given to a business.
  • •Don't write a bad check or use fake payment for fees or bills owed to the government.
  • •Tell the government within 10 days if your business changes owners, structure, or hires/fires certain salespeople.

Example

A car dealership writes a check to pay a fee to the government, but the check bounces because there's not enough money in the account.

This is against the law because the dealership tried to pay with a bad check, which is not allowed.
