§ 17913 Code Approval Notifications

Key Takeaways

  • •The state tells cities and counties when new building rules are approved.
  • •The state can send out quick updates if there’s an emergency or important news about building rules.
  • •The updates go to local building departments, fire officials, and other groups who need to know.

Example

A new rule says all new houses must have fire sprinklers.

The state tells every city and county when this rule starts, so builders and fire departments know to follow it.
