§ 1531 License And Permit Standards

The regulations for a license shall prescribe standards of safety and sanitation for the physical plant and standards for basic personal care, supervision, and services based upon the category of licensure. The regulations for a special permit shall prescribe standards for the quality of specialized services, including, but not limited to, staffing with duly qualified personnel which take into account the age, physical and mental capabilities, and the needs of the persons to be served. The state department’s regulations shall allow for the development of new and innovative community programs. (Added by Stats. 1973, Ch. 1203.)
