§ 14883 Nuisance Property Description Requirements

Key Takeaways

  • •The law says you must describe the exact property where a problem (nuisance) is happening.
  • •You do this by using the property details from county tax records, like tract, block, lot, or parcel number.
  • •You don’t need any other details—just the tax record info.

Example

Your neighbor’s yard is full of junk and trash, and the city wants to fix it.

The city must write down the exact property details from tax records (like lot number) to say where the junk is. They don’t need to describe the junk itself, just the property.
