§ 131531 Employee Health Care Benefits

Key Takeaways

  • •This law makes sure workers get good health care, like what families get in the Healthy Families Program.
  • •The health care must include basic stuff like doctor visits, hospital stays, and medicine.
  • •The rules say the health care should be almost the same as what adults get in another big health program.

Example

If you work at a company that offers health care, you should get the same kind of care as a family in a state health program.

This means if you get sick, your health care should cover things like going to the doctor or staying in the hospital, just like it would for a family in the Healthy Families Program.
