§ 131225 Two Year License Renewal

Key Takeaways

  • •Licenses or permits from the department can be issued or renewed for two years instead of one.
  • •The fee for a two-year license can be up to twice the normal one-year fee.
  • •The department decides the exact rules and fees for these two-year licenses.

Example

If you need a special work permit that usually costs $50 every year, the department can let you pay for two years at once.

Instead of paying $50 this year and $50 next year, you might pay up to $100 now to cover both years.
