§ 12671 Fireworks Possession And Sale

Key Takeaways

  • •You can't sell, use, or even have fireworks unless the State Fire Marshal says it's okay.
  • •This includes things like selling them, setting them off, or just keeping them at home.
  • •The fireworks must be checked and registered by the state first.

Example

You buy some fireworks from another state and bring them home to celebrate the 4th of July.

If the fireworks aren't approved by the State Fire Marshal, you could get in trouble just for having them, even if you didn't set them off.
