§ 12634 Fireworks License Exemption

Key Takeaways

  • •If you already have a license to make, sell, or bring in regular fireworks, you don’t need a separate license for special fireworks like those used in farming or for model rockets.
  • •This only applies if your current license already lets you work with other types of fireworks.
  • •The rule makes it easier for businesses that already handle fireworks to also deal with these special types without extra paperwork.

Example

A company already has a license to make and sell fireworks for Fourth of July celebrations.

This company doesn’t need to get another license if they want to start making fireworks used to scare birds away from farms. Their current license covers it.
