§ 12619 Fireworks Import Export Notice

Key Takeaways

  • •If you have a license to bring in or send out fireworks, you must tell the State Fire Marshal before they arrive.
  • •You have to give details like when the fireworks will arrive, what kind they are, how many, and who is sending them.
  • •You also need to say who is carrying them, where they are coming from, and any special marks on the boxes.

Example

A company wants to bring in a big shipment of fireworks for a Fourth of July show.

Before the fireworks arrive, the company must tell the State Fire Marshal the date they expect the fireworks, what types (like sparklers or big rockets), how many, who is bringing them (like a trucking company), where they are coming from, and any special numbers or marks on the boxes.
