§ 12588 License Denial After Revocation

Key Takeaways

  • •If the Fire Marshal already said 'no' to your license or took it away in the last year, they can say 'no' again without a new meeting.
  • •This only happens if you broke the rules before and they followed the right steps to deny or take your license.
  • •It’s about keeping people who broke the rules from getting a license too soon.

Example

A person had their fireworks license taken away 6 months ago for selling illegal fireworks. They apply for a new license.

The Fire Marshal can automatically say 'no' to the new license because they already took it away less than a year ago for breaking the rules.
