§ 1240 License Suspension Or Revocation

Key Takeaways

  • •If you break the rules of your license or permit, the state can take it away.
  • •Helping someone else break the rules can also get your license or permit taken away.
  • •If you do something that hurts or endangers people while using your license or permit, the state can stop you from using it.

Example

A restaurant owner lets their kitchen get really dirty and unsafe, even though health rules say it must be clean.

The state can take away the restaurant's license because they broke the health rules and made the place unsafe for people.
