§ 123120 Patient Rights Enforcement Actions

Any patient or representative aggrieved by a violation of Section 123110 may, in addition to any other remedy provided by law, bring an action against the health care provider to enforce the obligations prescribed by Section 123110. Any judgment rendered in the action may, in the discretion of the court, include an award of costs and reasonable attorney fees to the prevailing party. (Added by Stats. 1995, Ch. 415, Sec. 8. Effective January 1, 1996.)
