§ 113350 Regulations For Workplace Safety

Key Takeaways

  • •The government can make rules to keep workplaces safe, especially where food is handled.
  • •These rules must be at least as strict as other safety rules for workers.
  • •The rules don’t take away the power of workplace safety inspectors.

Example

A restaurant kitchen where workers handle food.

The government can make rules like 'workers must wear gloves when touching food' to keep things clean and safe. If they don’t follow these rules, they could get in trouble.
