§ 108570 Detained Toy Removal Ban

No person shall knowingly remove, sell, or dispose of a detained or embargoed toy without permission of an authorized agent of the department, the local health officer, or the court. Violation of this section is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000) for each violation or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period not exceeding one year, or both. (Added by Stats. 1995, Ch. 415, Sec. 6. Effective January 1, 1996.)
