§ 6021 Harbor District Boundary Adjustments

• •These changes happen during a hearing and must follow what’s in the original petition.

A city wants to create a harbor improvement district to build a new dock. Some nearby farms won’t get any advantage from the dock, while a neighboring industrial park will.

At the hearing, the board can remove the farms from the district because they won’t benefit, and they can add the industrial park because it will profit from the new dock.
