§ 8837 Financial Reporting Requirements

Key Takeaways

  • •The commission must make a yearly report showing all the money they got and how they spent it.
  • •If someone gets money (a grant or contract) from the commission, they must keep records to show how they used that money and how much the whole project cost.
  • •The commission can decide what kind of records are needed and can make forms to collect this information.

Example

A school gets money from the commission to build a new playground.

The school must keep track of how much money they got from the commission, how they spent it, and how much the whole playground cost. They also need to show if they got money from other places too. The commission can ask for forms to be filled out to show all this information.
