§ 8822 Public Broadcast Interconnection Systems

Key Takeaways

  • •The government can set up and run systems to share public TV and radio shows all over the state.
  • •At least two radio channels and one TV channel must always be saved for public stations to use first.

Example

Imagine your local public radio station wants to broadcast a live concert to people across the whole state.

The government makes sure there are special channels just for this kind of thing, so the concert can be heard everywhere without being blocked by other shows.
