§ 71658 Trial Court Implementation Dates

Key Takeaways

  • •This law starts working on the day the chapter becomes official.
  • •Courts and worker groups can agree to change the start date if they want.
  • •If there's already a work agreement, the new rules start when the new agreement begins or 90 days after the old one ends.

Example

A court and its workers have a work agreement that ends on June 30. They can't agree on a new one.

The new rules from this law will start 90 days after June 30, which is September 28, unless the court and workers agree on a different date.
