§ 68929 Document Comparison Fees

• •You pay 5 cents for every page (folio) when you need a document compared and certified.
• •If the document was printed or typed at the same time as the original and matches it exactly, you only pay 1 cent per page.
• •This fee is extra on top of the fee for the certificate itself.

You need a copy of your birth certificate compared to the original and certified.

If your copy was typed at the same time as the original and matches perfectly, you pay 1 cent for each page. If not, you pay 5 cents per page. You also pay extra for the certificate.
