§ 67968 Authority Board Composition

Key Takeaways

  • •A group of 7 people runs this authority.
  • •They come from different local groups like county leaders and utility districts.
  • •If a district stops working in the area, they lose their spot on the group.
  • •Each member's first term length is decided by whoever picked them.

Example

The North Tahoe Public Utility District stops providing water services in the area.

They would lose their spot on the board, and the board would then have only 6 members instead of 7.
