§ 6592 Bond Revenue Pledge Provisions

Key Takeaways

  • •This law lets a government group (called 'the authority') borrow money by selling bonds to pay for big projects like roads or buildings.
  • •The authority promises to pay back the money using things like taxes, fees, or money from projects.
  • •The law sets rules on how the money can be used, how much can be spent on running things, and what happens if they don’t follow the rules.
  • •If the authority breaks the rules, the people who bought the bonds can take action to get their money back.

Example

A city wants to build a new park but doesn’t have enough money right now.

The city can sell bonds (like IOUs) to people or companies. They promise to pay back the money over time using park fees or taxes. The law makes sure the city follows the rules, like only using the money for the park and not for other stuff.
