§ 31115 Civil Service Exam Fraud

Key Takeaways

  • •Don't pretend to be someone else (or let someone pretend to be you) during a job test or application for a county job.
  • •Don't steal or share test questions for a county job exam before the test happens.
  • •Don't trick someone into giving up their rights under the county job system.

Example

Your friend wants a job with the county and asks you to take their civil service exam for them.

If you take the test pretending to be your friend, you're breaking the law. You could get in trouble, even if you were just trying to help.
