§ 30108 County Treasurer Travel Reimbursement

Key Takeaways

  • •If a county treasurer has to travel to Sacramento for work, the state will pay for their trip.
  • •The state will cover real costs like gas or bus tickets, not extra or fancy stuff.
  • •After the work is done, the state will send the money to the county treasurer.

Example

A county treasurer takes a bus from their local town to Sacramento to finish some official paperwork.

The state will pay for the bus ticket because it was a necessary trip for work. The treasurer won’t get extra money for food or a hotel unless it was absolutely needed.
