• •Only one official check (inquest) can happen for a dead body.
• •If many people die together in the same way (like a car crash), there’s still just one check for all of them.
• •A court can say the first check didn’t count and order a new one.

The police do one check for all the bodies, not separate ones for each person. If they mess up the first check, a judge can make them do it again.
