§ 25042 Supervisor Misconduct Penalties

Key Takeaways

  • •If a boss at work doesn't do their job on purpose, breaks the rules, or does something sneaky, they can get in big trouble.
  • •The boss might have to pay the county $500 for each bad thing they do.
  • •If someone gets hurt because of the boss's bad actions, the boss might have to pay them money too.

Example

A boss at a construction site ignores safety rules on purpose, and a worker gets hurt because of it.

The boss didn't do their job right and broke the rules, so they might have to pay $500 to the county and also pay the worker for their injuries.
